NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 1 – Kenya Airways (KQ) and Air India have signed a codeshare partnership to enhance seamless travel between Africa, India, and beyond.
Under the agreement, Air India will place its ‘AI’ designator code on Kenya Airways’ twice-daily Nairobi-Mumbai flights, offering onward connections to Bangkok, Colombo, Dhaka, Malé, Melbourne, and Singapore. This expands options for Nairobi passengers beyond India, complementing existing connections via Delhi.
Similarly, Kenya Airways will place its ‘KQ’ code on Air India’s Nairobi-Delhi flights, allowing travelers from across Africa to connect to India via Nairobi.
The deal builds on an existing interline agreement between the two carriers, strengthening travel links between the two regions.
