Actress Jackie Matubia says she underwent gastric bypass surgery and lost considerable weight in a few days.
Just months after her friend and fellow thespian underwent the same procedure that entails the placement of a saline-filled silicone ballon in the stomach. The ‘Zora’ actress says she lost over 6kgs in less than a week.
She says the process was instrumental in helping her kickstart her weightloss surgery after the birth of her second child. She also reveals the procedure was done at a Nairobi adding that she saw the results within just a few days, adding that the side effects include 3 days of feeling nauseated.
Gastric bypass enhances weightloss by limiting what the individual eats by making you feel fuller. Its price ranges between Ksh 350-600 thousand in Kenya.
