NAIROBI, Kenya, Aug 1 – A visitor can move from a precision-farming demonstration to a financing conversation, a livestock pavilion, a product launch and family entertainment, all within one day at Jamhuri Park.
Nairobi International Trade Fair 2026 will bring more than 500 exhibitors to Jamhuri Park Showground from 28 September to 4 October. The number is significant, but the real attraction is the range behind it: agribusinesses, technology companies, manufacturers, financiers, insurers, regulators, researchers, logistics providers, energy firms and learning institutions sharing one venue.
That mix makes the fair useful to very different audiences. A farmer can compare equipment and inputs. An entrepreneur can look for suppliers and finance. A student can explore careers and new technology.
A family can enjoy food, performances, livestock and children’s activities. A business executive can hold scheduled meetings and still discover an unexpected opportunity.Start with practical innovationThe Agri-Tech and Innovation Hub will show how precision farming, biotechnology and sustainable production are moving from concept to everyday use.
The most valuable exhibits will be those that answer practical questions clearly: What problem is being solved? Is the solution affordable? Can it work at small scale? What training, maintenance and financing are available?
Visitors will have the advantage of seeing solutions demonstrated and speaking directly to technical teams. That direct engagement can turn an unfamiliar technology into a realistic option for a farm, enterprise or institution.
Meet the people behind the market
At the NITF farm block and Livestock Pavilion, crop varieties, dairy systems, livestock breeds, veterinary services, storage and value-addition solutions will bring production closer to the public. Farmers and buyers can compare options while students and families gain a clearer view of how food and agricultural enterprises work.
The Business Nexus and Technology Showcase will broaden the experience into manufacturing, services, trade and investment. Companies will launch products, meet potential distributors, speak with institutional buyers and explore business-to-business partnerships.
Nairobi International Trade Fair Branch Manager, Mr. Kefa Nyachwaya has described the Trade Fair’s role this way: “We are not just running exhibitions; we are shaping national discourse in agriculture and trade.”
At Nairobi International Trade Fair, that conversation becomes visible through products, demonstrations and direct engagement.
See how new markets begin
New markets often start with a first conversation: a producer meets a processor, a manufacturer identifies a distributor, a financier understands a customer need or a technology company discovers a new user group.
Nairobi International Trade Fair creates the conditions for these encounters to happen naturally.
Local businesses will be able to compare technologies, standards and business models while presenting their own capabilities to a wider audience.
International exhibitors can test their offer against Kenyan conditions and begin relationships with local partners. For visitors, this means more than browsing. It is an opportunity to compare products, discover services, ask informed questions and leave with contacts, ideas and practical next steps.
Bring the family, curiosity and time
The Culinary Delights and Family Entertainment Zone will add food, games and performances, while recreational areas and children’s activities will make the fair accessible to families. The professional and public experiences are designed to sit side by side, allowing visitors to learn, network and enjoy the day.
The strongest way to experience NITF is to arrive with a priority but remain open to discovery. Plan the exhibitors or zones that matter most, allow enough time for demonstrations and conversations, and explore beyond the first area you visit.
From 28 September to 4 October, Jamhuri Park will offer a live view of how Kenya’s agriculture, trade, technology and services sectors are changing, and where the next opportunities may come from.Do not wait to hear what happened at the show. Be there to see, ask, compare and connect.
