PML-N leader and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has reffairmed that there will be no elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces until “wrong things done to Sharif” are righted and PTI chief Imran Khan is held accountable, reported Dawn.

“There will be no elections until Imran Khan is held accountable. There will be no elections unless there is a level playing field,” Sharif told PML-N workers at a convention in Sheikhupura. Sharif reiterated her position just days after President Arif Alvi set April 30 as the date for Punjab elections in accordance with a Supreme Court order.

Further, according to the Dawn report, Sharif claimed that her father had been wronged and that it should be undone. “Elections will be conducted only after the scales of justice have been balanced,” she said.
