NAIROBI, Kenya, Jul 15 – Eat N’Go, the parent company of Dominos’s Pizza says it is committed to working with local suppliers from the country in sourcing most of their ingredients required to prepare its products.Speaking during the launch of ‘Domino’s Pizza 25 Minutes Delivery Guaranteed Campaign’, Peter Jones, the Managing Director of Eat N’Go Kenya noted that this move is aimed at boosting local production of dairy products.“We will work with local suppliers for our ingredients. We are committed to sourcing our products such as cheese and cream from local suppliers here in the country. We are passionate about working with suppliers from the country,” he stated.With some fast food restaurants sourcing their ingredients such as potatoes, spices and chicken from outside the country, Domino’s Pizza says that it will maintain that ‘Buy Kenya Build Kenya’ initiative.“Thankfully, we use cheese that is made here. We try as much as possible to get our products from here and work with suppliers here in the country,” he added.The MD further alluded he is committed to making Domino’s Pizza the go-to pizza restaurant in Kenya as he boasts an experience of over 25 years in Food and Beverage management.Domino’s Pizza marketing manager Peris Gitau noted that the firm has rolled out a 25 minutes delivery plan. “We were actually beating the target that we had set for 30 minutes and we were like can’t we give our customers better value in under 25 minutes,” she stated.
In addition to delivering orders in under 25 minutes, Domino’s Pizza also promises to issue vouchers to their customers in case of the order delayed even by a minute.
“When your order arrives 26 minutes later, we will give you a voucher. We are guaranteeing that your food will arrive in under 25 minutes. However, if it doesn’t we guarantee you a free voucher where you can actually come and redeem it at our Domino’s store,” she said.
