NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 19 – Kenyan tour company Twiga Tours won three prestigious awards at the World Travel Awards yesterday evening.
The company was recognized as Africa’s Responsible Tourism Award 2024 winner, Kenya’s Leading Safari Company 2024, and Tanzania’s Leading Safari Company 2024.
Established in 1993, the World Travel Awards celebrate excellence across all key sectors of the travel, tourism, and hospitality industries.
Twiga Tours was founded by Minaz Manji and his late father after they returned to Kenya from the United Kingdom.
The company offers safari services to destinations in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Uganda, with popular locations including Maasai Mara National Reserve, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
In 2022, Twiga Tours was named the World’s Leading Tour Company at the World Travel Awards in Muscat, Oman.
The firm was also recognized in 2013 as the World’s Responsible Tourism Company and the World’s Leading Luxury Safari Company.
