NAIROBI, Kenya, Sept 14 – Fuel prices have dropped marginally following the latest monthly review by the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA).
The regulator announced that in Nairobi, a litre of super petrol, diesel, and kerosene will now retail at Sh184.52, Sh171.47, and Sh154.78 respectively, reflecting decreases of Sh0.79, Sh0.11, and Sh0.80.
The drop is attributed to a fall in the average landed cost of imports.
The landed cost of super petrol declined by 0.46 percent to $620.84 per cubic metre in August 2025 from $623.71 in July. Diesel costs fell by 3.38 percent to $614.08, while kerosene decreased by 2.93 percent to $609.59 over the same period.
EPRA said the new pump prices will remain in force from September 15 to October 14, 2025.
