KIAMBU, Kenya, Apr 21 – A twenty-eight-year-old boyfriend to a woman whose body was found wrapped in a suitcase and dumped outside a residential house eat Kamakis in Ruiru, Kiambu County has been arrested in connection with the murder.
This is after he took police to a shop where he bought the sack that he used to stuff the body of the woman before he left it 500 meters from where they lived.
The murder incident happened on Monday, and he stayed with the body in the house before he took it to the scene where it was found by neighbors.
The suspect informed the officers that the two were working in a hotel within Kamakis area where the deceased was a cashier, and the suspect a chef.
He informed officers that they had domestic quarrel where the suspect hit the deceased on the head and killed her instantly.
The suspect also led the officers to Mukuyu area in Murang’a where they also recovered the mobile handset of the deceased from his cousin.
The incident was discovered by locals who noticed the suitcase placed the the entrance of the residence.
The suitcase had been stuffed in a sack when the body was found Tuesday afternoon.
