NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 16 – Troubled cement maker ARM Cement (In Liquidation) will convene a virtual meeting of creditors on February 27, 2026, to present a report on the liquidator’s activities and provide an update on the winding-up process over the past year.

The meeting, scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (EAT), is being held in accordance with Section 413(1) of the Insolvency Act, 2015, which requires liquidators to table progress reports before creditors.

The company was placed under administration on August 17, 2018, before transitioning into liquidation on October 1, 2021.

Creditors will have the opportunity to review the liquidator’s report, seek clarifications and receive updates on distributions made so far. A detailed report is expected to be circulated by February 20, 2026, ahead of the virtual session.

Liquidators said distributions to creditors are ongoing and advised any unsecured creditor who has not received at least 7.61 percent of their admitted claim to notify the administrators.

The meeting is expected to outline recovery progress and the next steps in concluding one of Kenya’s most closely watched corporate insolvency cases.
