EMBU, Kenya, Apr 13 – Voting materials for some areas in Embu County have been burnt down ahead of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party nomination.

The residents there burnt ballot boxes in Kangaru, following rumors that they were to be used in rigging during the nomination process.  

It’s alleged that the ballot materials were to be used by some party officials and aspirants to rig in favor of some candidates.
