NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 24 — US First Lady Dr Jill Biden has arrived in Nairobi for a three-day official visit.
Dr Biden was received at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by her host, Rachel Ruto, and top officials of both countries including US Ambassador Meg Whiteman and EAC Affairs Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano.
She is scheduled to for a closed-door meeting with her host at State House Nairobi later this evening.
Dr Biden will hold a series of engagements including a visit to JoyFul Women, a table banking initiative spearheaded by First Lady Rachel Ruto which seeks to empower women.
