NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 27 – TECNO Kenya has successfully concluded its annual Christmas Fiesta campaign, crowning Winnie Dorah from Mombasa as the grand prize winner of a brand-new Mazda Demio worth over KSh 1.5 million.
The campaign, aimed at giving back to loyal customers and celebrating the festive season, highlighted TECNO’s dedication to customer satisfaction and innovation.
Winnie, who purchased a TECNO Camon 30 from Jambo Communications Limited in Mombasa, expressed her disbelief and gratitude during the prize presentation at Garden City Mall.
“When they called to tell me I had won a brand-new Mazda Demio, I thought it was a prank,” she said. “I never expected to win after simply buying a phone for my daughter. Today, I am proof that miracles happen, and I can only thank God.”
Speaking at the event, TECNO brand representative Dickson Ireri reaffirmed the company’s commitment to empowering consumers.
“As TECNO, we pride ourselves on understanding and meeting the aspirations of Kenyan consumers. Our dedication to innovation, affordability, and accessibility continues to drive our success. We aim to empower more people across Africa with devices that enhance their digital lifestyles,” said Ireri.
TECNO Kenya also celebrated the relaunch of its refurbished Garden City Mall branch, designed to showcase a wider range of products and accessories.
“With over 22 branches nationwide and an extensive distributor network, our goal is to bring our products closer to consumers and ensure they have access to the full TECNO experience,” said Brian Otieno, TECNO Kenya’s Retail Manager.
According to recent market research, TECNO remains a dominant player in Sub-Saharan Africa’s smartphone market, particularly in Kenya, Nigeria, and Ghana.
With over 20 million smartphones sold across the continent in the past year, the brand continues to appeal to diverse demographics by offering features such as high-performance cameras, long-lasting batteries, and localized apps tailored to African users.
The Christmas Fiesta campaign not only showcased TECNO’s commitment to its customers but also reinforced its position as a leader in Africa’s tech market, making digital innovation accessible to millions.
