NAIROBI, Kenya, July 26 – NCBA Bank is planning to open 10 more branches in the country before the end of this year as the lender seeks to expand its presence nationwide.
Its expansion seeks to enhance its retail business and financial services convenience for customers.
This was announced after the Bank opened its 89th branch at Kahawa Sukari in Kiambu County yesterday.
The new outlet pushes its total countrywide outlets to 90.
“This latest branch will be key to supporting the local businesses in the area through offering personalized banking solutions,” NCBA Bank Retail Banking Group Director Tirus Mwithiga said.
“We recognize that SME lending is one of the most economically important and one of the most profitable contributors to banking revenues,” Gitonga said.
“This new branch will provide this community with different banking solutions: credit to grow businesses, asset finance, corporate, business, and retail banking.”
In June, the institution also opened a new branch in Chwele, Bungoma County.
It became the second to be opened in the devolved unit.
