NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 5 – A 13-year-old Nairobi Waldorf School student is set to make history in Kenyan motorsport when he competes as a navigator alongside his father in this weekend’s Rally Raid 4 – The Finale.
Raymond Namoya will team up with his father, Ibrahim Namoya, under F&R Speed in the two-day event scheduled for November 7–8 at The Sleeping Warrior in Nakuru.
Raymond is expected to become the youngest Indigenous Rally Raid navigator to compete in a championship, marking a significant milestone for the sport in Kenya.
The father-and-son duo will also introduce a new technology feature to Kenyan motorsport through a live cockpit-streaming web portal that will allow fans to follow the action in real time from inside their rally vehicle.

The platform, developed for F&R Speed by a parent within the Nairobi Waldorf School community, will give viewers an opportunity to watch the competition while listening to Raymond call out navigation instructions as the team tackles the challenging rally terrain.
The technology was unveiled at Nairobi Waldorf School, where Raymond is a Grade 8 student, during an event attended by members of the school community.
Raymond and his father used the occasion to seek support for their challenge and demonstrate how the platform will work.
The initiative brings together motorsport, technology and community participation, with members of the school community contributing their expertise to develop a platform aimed at making rallying more accessible to fans.
The live-streaming portal is expected to offer motorsport enthusiasts a closer look at the demands of rally navigation while providing an interactive way to experience the competition.
Raymond’s participation alongside his father adds a family dimension to this weekend’s event, while the introduction of cockpit streaming marks another step towards expanding fan engagement in Kenyan motorsport.
