Blankets & Wine Sets Stage For An Unforgettable April Edition, The First Of 2024

Nairobi is getting ready for an exciting Blankets & Wine festival on April 7, 2024. It will feature an array of African music stars and rising talents at the beautiful Laureate Gardens, next to Moi International Sports Centre.

The festival aims to offer a great experience for music and culture lovers, starting at noon so everyone can enjoy the day’s activities.

CEO Muthoni The Drummer Queen says of this edition: “This April lineup really represents Blankets & Wine, with a mix of Afrobeats and soulful music.”

The event will kick off with Kenyan favorites Vijana Barubaru, known for their catchy tunes. Wanavokali, an acapella group, will impress with their vocals while Eric Wainaina will stage his unique Kenyan classics.

The international lineup includes Nigerian singer Wurld, known for hits like ‘Show You Off,’ and South Africa’s DJ Dlala Thuzkin, who is synonymous with blending Amapiano, Afro Tech, and GQOM.

Kenyan stars like Fena Gitu, with her urban tunes, and Chris Kaiga, who blends Sheng and Uptown rhythms, will also perform.
