ISLAMABAD, Feb. 27 (Xinhua) — A new study has shown that 51 percent of Pakistanis identified themselves as “food lovers” and 45 percent of Pakistanis shared that they “only eat to stay alive”.
A Gallup and Gilani Pakistan’s report based on a national survey asked the following question, “Are you a food lover, or do you just eat to stay alive?”
In response to the question, 52 percent of male and 45 percent of female respondents identified themselves as “food lovers”, the report said, adding that 44 percent of males and 51 percent of females answered otherwise.
Additionally, 48 percent who identified as “food lovers” hailed from a rural area, whereas 54 percent were from urban areas, according to the report.
